ORIVILLE CASTLE is a book from Origami Land Series by Oriland authors that will teach you how to build your own magnificent Origami Castle of Oriland style!
Challenge yourself to become an origami architect and build the paper Castle entirely by folding! Do-It-Yourself – start Oriville Kingdom with this cheerful origami castle originally designed by Yuri and Katrin Shumakov. The Castle consists of 23 elements: bases, stands, walls, roofs, towers, lanterns, different accessories and more, and requires 382 separate pieces of paper to fold. It is a large undertaking requiring much patience and time – but the process and result will be very satisfying! You can fold the Castle together with your friends or your family – it is fun!
When using sheets of Letter or A4 format as suggested in 'Paper Preparation' section of the eBook, the Castle will be 60 cm (24 inches) high! You will need about 140 sheets of paper, Letter or A4 format in total and one 42 cm-(17-inch) square of paper for the main roof.
There are 450 detailed step-by-step colorful diagrams, placed on 83 pages that will guide you through folding all the details of the Castle and the assembly. The 'Origami Symbols' section is explaining international origami symbols to help you to read diagrams for folding. Generally, the Castle is of the complex level of folding; some details are relatively complex, but most are fairly simple. Good for those with some experience in origami and the expert alike.
For your convenience, each article in this eBook (PDF file) is bookmarked for quick and easy access! Hope you will enjoy the book with all the presented designs, shown in every detail through vector and photo-diagrams. Happy folding!
